BOARD OF DIRECTORS


KEN TAYLOR (Chairman)

has specialized in intellectual property investigations and associated services for over 15 years. Ken developed the business concept and vision for Marksmen and was the company's first employee. He is currently responsible for the management of all things Marksmen including new business development, branding, growth and strategic positioning. Ken has published articles on IP investigations, is a frequent speaker and is a member and has served on various committees of the Intellectual Property Constituency of ICANN, Computer Law Association, Intellectual Property Owners, International Trademark Association, Marques, International Anti-Counterfeiting Association, Triangle Intellectual Property Law Association and the California Association of Licensed Investigators (licensed both in California and North Carolina). Ken was an actor and playwright in another life and graduated with an English degree from Auburn University.

JEFF CRAPO (Director)

is a customer loyalty and incentive rewards consultant. He was Founder and Vice President of Business Development at WebMiles, Inc. where he created the first US coalition loyalty program thereby setting a new industry direction that is quickly becoming the standard. Prior to founding WebMiles, he was Vice President of Sales for Fibernet Corporation. Jeff is the author of pending and issued patents relating to coalition loyalty/incentive programs and innovative incentive currency aggregation processes. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy/Information Systems. Jeff is an active member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and was selected as a finalist for the 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

MARV POLLACK (Director)

is currently Senior Vice President, Marketing Communication for comScore, Inc., a rapidly growing company at the forefront of measuring consumer behavior on the Internet. Before comScore, Marv was Vice President, Corporate Communications of Océ-USA Holding, Inc.; Senior Vice President and Director of Strategic Development of Grant/Jacoby Advertising; Founder and Chief Executive of Pitzel & Pollack Advertising; Director, Advertising of Hyatt Hotels; Director, Marketing Programs and Advertising, Midway Airlines; and Associate International Finance Director, Leo Burnett Company. Marv graduated cum laude with a degree in Economics from Princeton University and received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

ALAN WOLEN (Director)

is Of Counsel and one of the founding partners of Barger & Wolen LLP. His areas of practice include general corporation, insurance and real estate law. Alan is admitted to the U.S. District Court of California (Southern and Central Districts of California), U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. Alan is President, Chairman of the Board, Arrowhead Lake Association, Director and Secretary, Lake Arrowhead Children's Museum. Alan has been a teacher, author, editor and lecturer as well as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, US Air Force. Alan received a degree in finance from UCLA and his J.D. from USC.

MAURY TEPPER, III (Director)

is a partner at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in the firm´s Raleigh, NC office, where his practice includes all aspects of the creation, registration, maintenance and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights and domain names. Maury has extensive experience helping clients in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to information technology to food and entertainment including GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Eli Lilly, SAS institute, Lenovo, Golden Corral and McKee Foods. Maury was recently appointed by the Secretary of Commerce to serve on the Trademark Public Advisory Committee to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He has served on the Board of Directors of INTA, the Triangle Intellectual Property Association, INTA Political Action Committee, the North Carolina Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and the North Carolina Bar Association Intellectual Property Section. Maury is regularly called upon to lecture on trademark developments at conferences throughout the United States, as well as abroad. Maury received a B.A. from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
