KEN TAYLOR ORIENTATES FIRST TIME ATTENDEES AT THE 2005 INTA ANNUAL MEETING IN SAN DIEGO, CA.

San Diego, May 15, 2005 - INTA Annual Meeting first-time attendees were given an introduction of what to expect at the INTA Annual Meeting during the Orientation and Reception at the San Diego Convention Center on May 15, 2005.

The gathering opened with a fun little competition in which the worst travel stories from the new attendees were awarded prizes from Conair.  From there, veterans of the INTA Annual Meetings, Ken Taylor of Marksmen, Jim McCarthy of McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff, Debra Duguid of Conair and David Gooder of Jack Daniel’s gave newcomers insight on how to “break the ice” when interacting with new people as well as guidance on getting the most out of the Annual Meeting.

Wearing your name badge, introducing yourself while standing in lines, and pacing yourself during the social gatherings were common advice from the panelists.  In addition, Ken Taylor recommended that the attendees sign up for the many sporting events offered at INTA. “It’s very relaxed and it gives you a chance to meet people that share your personal sporting obsession.”
