FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KEN TAYLOR SPEAKS TO FIRST TIME ATTENDEES AT THE 2004 INTA ANNUAL MEETING IN ATLANTA, GA.

Atlanta, GA., May 2, 2004 - More than 200 INTA Annual Meeting first-time attendees were given an overview of what to expect at the INTA Annual Meeting during the Orientation and Reception in the Marriott on May 2, 2004.

Veterans of several INTA Annual Meetings, Ken Taylor of Marksmen, Steve Levy of The Home Depot, and Jim McCarthy of McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff provided insight and advice on how to get the most out of the Annual Meeting and encouraged first-time attendees to become involved with activities organized by one of the latest INTA committees, the Young Practitioners Group. The committee aims to help trademark specialists still relatively new to the profession – regardless of age – to network and share experiences.

The panelists reminded “newbie’s” to swipe their INTA badges at sessions if they want to claim CLE points and encouraged everyone to join the sports and social events, as they are good ways to network. Attendees were urged to pace themselves when drinking at the receptions taking place throughout the week to avoid burning the candle at both ends.
